Description

We will be releasing a new update out for ConnectWise PSA to bring cloud instances up to the new 2025.1 version. This will be a slow rolling process where we migrate PSA cloud instances to the new version in batches each day during the scheduled period. This process will start on Tuesday January 14th, and will proceed through Friday January 24th. During the time of your migration, there should be no disruptions to any of the services, but we would just like to make you aware of the update being made to PSA. Patches for on-premise PSA instances will be also be deployed during this time and made available for installation at your own convenience. Thank you for your continued partnership and patience as we release the latest update out for ConnectWise PSA.

[Resolved] The issue with Task execution from Asio portal is now resolved. Task execution is now operating as usual. Any task created from Run button on the Devices page within the duration of this incident will need to be re-created. No actions are needed if the task was scheduled from Automation > Tasks page.

[Identified] Reports of Asio platform left navigation items redirecting intermittently to the device page via the logout expired page have been identified. The cases have been consolidated, and a resolution is in progress. Re-trying the left nav attempt is successful in most cases allowing you to continue working. To allow for extensive validation of the resolution, the roll out to production to address the intermittent issue is planned for Wednesday, January 15th between 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Eastern. This incident notification will stay open and updated until resolved, if required a maintenance window will be published.

[Identified] Update: This incident now only impacts the North America infrastructure for Asio platform. EU and AU infrastructure for Asio platform remained unaffected throughout this issue. An ad-hoc maintenance window for North America will be added for Jan 15th at 9:45 PM Eastern to 11:45 PM Eastern to deploy required CDN infrastructure updates to completely resolve this incident. No service disruption is anticipated during this deployment.

[Investigating] We are experiencing a possible issue with RMM Agent on AU Region where all components of the Agent are not present after Agent installs successfully. This issue is limited to AU region for endpoints which were installed in the last few days. We will follow up with more information soon.

Description

We’re excited to announce a new release for SaaS Backup is being deployed, which introduces enhanced backup and restore features for the Entra ID connector. Notably, this update adds support for backing up Windows Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS). To enable backup support for Windows LAPS, we require an additional permission: Read device local credential passwords. You can grant this permission by reauthenticating your connector, which will automatically upgrade the app our platform uses to connect to Entra ID. Once the release is available, simply reauthenticate your connector to complete the process: Open your backup configuration, click Proceed, then sign in with your dedicated service account and accept the updated permissions list. While your backup will continue to run during this time, please note that you will not be able to configure LAPS for backup until the reauthentication is complete. LAPS backup functionality is available exclusively for Advanced Entra ID connectors. However, even Standard Entra ID connectors will still be prompted to reauthenticate.
